Biographie de l’artiste
Amaury Berillon vit et travaille à Paris. Il est sorti avec les honneurs de son bachelor à Central Saint Martins en 2017. Il cherche dans ses peintures, il explore la forme par sa relation au matériel. Ses toiles enduites de béton exposées au mur, au sol ou parfois entre les deux font partie intégrante de l’environnement dans lequel elles sont présentées. Elles offrent au public une possibilité de redéfinir sa perception de l’espace.
C’est l’utilisation de ce matériau poreux, presque trivial, appliqué et magnifié par l’artiste sur ces toiles qui donne sa puissance envoûtante au travail d’Amaury.
